2nd SEEMLA Project Meeting in Cottbus, Germany

From 22-23 June, 2016 the 2nd SEEMLA Project Meeting was taking place in the facilities of the Brandenburg Technical University (BTU) in Cottbus-Senftenberg. In the frame of a meeting at the first day of this internal event, all partners from Ukraine, Italy, Greece and Germany came together in order to share ideas and talk about the progress in the project, and also to discuss about upcoming tasks and events.

On the second day, partners from BTU were presenting their pilot cases in the vicinity of Cottbus, i.e. a recultivated former lignite mining field and a former railway area of "Deutsche Bahn", both cultivated and used as short rotation coppice (SRC) site now. - The next SEEMLA Project Meeting will be in Rome, Italy, in November, 2016.
