On 12th October, 2017 ISABEL participated in the SEP (Energy Self-sufficiency of the region on the Polish-German Border) workshop in Eberwalde, Germany. Following this event, on 13th October, 2017 ISABEL participated in the SEP semiar in Przelewice, Poland.
SEP is an Interreg funded project with the aim to develop the energy self-sufficiency in the border region between Germany and Poland.
During these events, FNR showed the key findings from ISABEL and how social innovation can be implemented in bioenergy community projects. Moreover, it was offered support for possible bioenergy projects.
Overall, 46 scientist, politicians, operators, citizens and experts in the bioenergy sector attended both events.
