RE-SAVE: Trainings workshop on farm management of renewable energy sources (RES) at the University Giessen

On 26th October 2017 a training workshop organized by the ERASMUS+ Project RE-SAVE “Renewable Energy Sources for Agricultural Vocational Education” was held at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany. Dr. Boris Vashev from the Agency for Renewable Resources (FNR) presented the E-Learning platform on farm use of RES developed within the RE-SAVE project and gave an extended overview on the opportunities and challenges for the on farm management and utilization of RES.

24 students from the Bachelor programs Agriculture and Environmental and Resource Management attending the lecture “BP59: Planning of agricultural production” held by Prof. Jöachim Aurbacher head of the chair for Agricultural Production Economics at the University Giessen participated in the workshop the future farm and resource managers was able to test the trainings modules and provide suggestions for improvements.
