Are you involved in the development of the bioeconomy and/or of innovative bio-based products, and interested in communicating about the benefits bio-based products offer to the larger public? Then you may want to engage with others that share your interest and join the BioCannDo webinar.

The BioCannDo project, which is coordinated by FNR, is about explaining the idea of the bioeconomy and of bio-based end-products in a clear and understandable language, in a scientifically correct manner, and connecting it to everyday life. Collaboration partners can share and learn about good practices in approaches and formats for communication to the general public.

What can you expect from the webinar:

You will first hear about lessons learnt from the Biobased Parade, an inspiring exhibition held in Vlissingen (NL) at which students presented a wide variety of bio-based experiences (experiments, snacks, etc.) for all age groups, but particularly for young children. After that you will get to learn about the toolkit, other materials and final results of BioCannDo’s sister bioeconomy communication project BioWays.

Webinar agenda:

1. Experiences of the Biobased Parade - Han van Osch, CoE BBE (Netherlands)
2. Experiences of the BioWays project– Louis Ferrini / Susanna Albertini, FVA (Italy)

Interested? Check the BioCannDo website to learn more about BioCannDo and register now to join our 1-hour webinar on Wednesday 24 October (11:00-12:00 CEST).

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
