The fourth newsletter of the Interreg South Baltic Programme funded project COASTAL Biogas has just been published. The project, which is coordinated by the FNR, focuses on the removal of nutrients from the Baltic Sea by collecting cast seaweed to counteract eutrophication. The marine biomass will be utilised in biogas plants and the remaining digestate is a perfect substitute for mineral fertilisers.
The recent newsletter edition covers the following topics:
- Upcoming third COASTAL Biogas conference
- COASTAL Biogas information kit and educational material
- Get to know the partners – Roskilde University
The newsletter is available here.
