On 23 May 2019, the ENERGY BARGE project, which is coordinated by FNR, organises its final conference as the concluding event of the project and to present the main project outcomes. The event will take place at A38 Ship, Petőfi bridge, Buda side, Budapest, Hungary.
From 09:00-12:20 the EU strategy for the Danube region and how the results of ENERGY BARGE tie into this strategy will be presented. During the afternoon session from 13:15-14:30 the most recent achievements of ENERGY BARGE will be showcased. Finally, from 14:45–16:15 the final ENERGY BARGE transnational workshop will take place. During this workshop participants will get the chance to participate in all of the following three groups:
- Group A: Placement of biomass industry in ports
- Group B: Future development of Danube ports
- Group C: Derivation of policy recommendations for the Danube region
