ERA CoBioTech has launched a second call for transnational research projects on “Biotechnology for a sustainable bioeconomy” on October 16th 2018. The Joint Call, with an indicative budget of approximately 15 M€, brings together 18 funding organizations from 14 countries.
The FNR is not participating in the current call but funding for German applicants will be provided by Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and Saxon State Ministry for Science and the Arts (SMWK). In ERA CoBioTech, FNR is responsible for the organization of status seminars for the funded projects and training Workshops for the Biotechnology Hub stakeholders.
Multidisciplinary applications addressing one of the two topics:
Topic A – Microbial communities (natural or synthetic), co-cultures and cascades of microorganisms for new products, value-added products and supply services as well as sustainable industrial processes.
Topic B – Pure cultures, cell free systems and enzymes for new products, value-added products and supply services as well as sustainable industrial processes.
