ENRICH in Brazil (formerly known as CEBRABIC) is the Brazilian pilot centre of the European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs. From 23 to 27 September 2019, ENRICH organises a matchmaking and innovation tour to Brazil. This is a unique networking opportunity for European organizations operating in the area of Bioeconomy, (Renewable) Energies and technologies applied to these sectors!
The five-day tour through the state of Paraná, namely Curitiba and Foz do Iguaçu, includes visits at top technology organizations (incl. ITAIPU and the Parque Tecnológico de ITAIPU) , matchmaking session @FIEP with the main players in the region and the sectorial areas and the participation at the ANPEI Conference, known as one of the main conferences in Brazil when it comes to Innovation.
Prior to the Matchmaking & Innovation Tour, a dedicated webinar will provide all the information necessary before then take-off to Brazil. The free-of-charge webinar will take place on 4th July 2019, 15.00 CET.

FNR supports the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture in its bilateral cooperation activities with Brazil. The latest event was a joint workshop “Driving Bioeconomy Cooperation Between Brazil and Germany, Bioeconomy Strategies and Collaboration Activities” on 24th May at the Green Rio 2019. This included the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e. V. (FNR) and Financiadora de Estudos e Projectos (FINEP) about possible joint activities. The link to the presentations provides more information.
