Innovation Fund Workshop on 12th September 2019 in Brussels

The FNR coordinated and H2020 funded project ETIP Bioenergy SABS 2 has successfully completed many endeavours recently, the last being its participation at the EUBCE in Lisbon in May, 2019. The project supports the work of the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) Bioenergy, which continuously investigates options for decarbonising the energy sector, by means of increased use of bioenergy. Part of reaching this goal includes supporting discussions regarding potential financing for these identified approaches. Currently, the biggest financial support that exists in this regard is derived from the European Commission’s Innovation Fund. Therefore, the ETIP Bioenergy SABS 2 team is excited to announce the Innovation Fund Workshop. ETIP Bioenergy, in collaboration with the ART Fuels Forum, ETIP Renewable Heating and Cooling and Bioenergy Europe, is organising the Innovation Fund Stakeholder Workshop on Renewable Fuels and Bioenergy on the 12th of September 2019 in Brussels.

The workshop is specifically interesting to those in the bioenergy sector, as the Innovation Fund is currently one of the world’s largest funding programmes for demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies. This event is an excellent opportunity for those within the energy industry to receive funding on newly developed innovative technologies. The EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), the world’s largest carbon pricing system, could supply as much as €10 billion of funding depending on the carbon price of the potential project. The Innovation Fund will focus on highly innovative technologies and significant flagship projects. Specifications for being able to receive the fund can be found here.

Do not miss this potential opportunity to implement your new innovative technology into the renewable energy market, and register for the Innovation Fund Workshop today!

We are looking forward to welcoming you soon in Brussels!
