On 27 April 2021, the South Baltic Joint Secretary had a successful first virtual networking meeting about the capitalisation of project results. Representatives of various South Baltic projects and other EU programs, such as Interreg Central Baltic and Poland-Russia CBC Programme, Poland-Belarus-Ukraine CBC Programme, and Interreg IPA-CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme were among the 60 participants.
The Joint Secretariats Projects’ Team Coordinator Marta Niciejewska presented the state of play for the Programme’s preparation of the new perspective 2021- 2027. A presentation about the concept of capitalisationin practice followed, highlighting the importance of communicating project results. After the presentations, the participants were moved to thematic breakout rooms where the importance of networking platforms was discussed and how the cooperation between projects can maximise project impacts. Participants were also able to share their experiences and ideas on cooperation with other projects and capitalisation. The results and ideas of the breakout rooms were later on presented and new networks (Union of the Baltic Cities, Baltic Sea Pharma network, the cluster Medicon Valley, Submariner network, Baltic Heritage Ideas, Crossroads, Johanna), websites (eurobalt.org) and new projects based on former project results (INCONE60 – Aegis and INCONE60 – ePicenter) were introduced.
