You are warmly invited to the workshop on:
Increasing acceptance and promoting changes in purchasing habits of bio-based products
Monday 8 July 2019, 09:30-16:30, Helsinki, Finland
The importance of successful communication for the acceptance of the bioeconomy is probably undisputed. But what are the success strategies and ways to win consumers and stakeholders over to the bioeconomy? This is the question raised by a workshop organised by the European projects BIOVOICES, BioCannDo, Biobridges and LIFT in Finland on 8 July as an official side event of the European Bioecomy Scene 2019.
The workshop will focus on the experiences and challenges of:
- awareness raising and communication on the circular bioeconomy, and
- Increasing the acceptance of bio-based products.
Best practices and lessons learned, suitable communication formats and channels, multipliers to be involved, and stories and messages to be used will be shared and discussed with the audience, including industries, researchers, policy makers, and civil society organisations dealing with communication and awareness raising on the circular bioeconomy.
The workshop will be jointly hosted by four projects: BIOVOICES (www.biovoices-platform.eu), BioCannDo (www.allthings.bio), Biobridges (www.biobridges-project.eu) and LIFT (envisaged start: May 2019), all partners within the European Bioeconomy Network (www.eubionet.eu).
Participation is free, but registration in advance is required. More information on the workshop, the programme and registration details can be found at www.biovoices.eu/helsinki
