The BioCannDo project, coordinated by FNR, has organised the fourth in a series of webinars addressed to all educational professionals that dedicate their time teaching about the bioeconomy.
This webinar was the kick-off of the Bioeconomy Education Community of Practice. In this community of educational institutions members will share educational materials and will discuss relevant topics from the field of bioeconomy.
During the webinar three different networks of educational institutes presented themselves: a network with institutes in Eastern Europe (Platform on Bioeconomy Education), a network of Dutch/Flemish institutes which cooperate in an Interreg project (Grenzeloos Biobased Onderwijs, in English: Borderless Biobased Education) and a Dutch nationwide network of educational institutes. The presentations focused on their ambitions and why/how they would like to connect to other networks and the Community of Practice in particular. You are kindly invited to join the Community of Practice that BioCannDo will be setting up together.
The next webinar will be organised in spring 2019.
The webinar was recorded and can be downloaded here. Presentations are also available for download.
Bio-based educators interested in future exchanges can contact the project coordinator Erik Lohse.
