The report, “Renewables 2018 of the International Energy Agency”, provides a detailed analysis regarding renewable energy, and forecasts from 2018 to 2023 the electric, heat, and transportation sectors. Modern bioenergy accounts for half of global renewable energy consumption, yet its role in reducing carbon emissions in the global energy system is not widely recognized.
