The European Union funded HORIZON Coordination and Support Action, ForestValue2 launches a Joint Call aiming to support transnational collaborative R&I projects that will produce knowledge to support the best possible use of forests and forest resources as well as to provide multiple benefits for society and the economy.
Funding organisations from 11 countries are providing a total of up to €7 million to support transnational research projects on the topics of "Resilient sustainable forest systems and management" and "Sustainable timber building systems".
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) is providing funds from the "Renewable Resources Program”, managed by the Agency for Renewable Resources (FNR) for the realisation of innovative, application-oriented research projects that go beyond the state of the art.
Deadline for project proposals is September 1, 2023, 13:00. Projects are supposed to start in the first half of 2024.
