GBEPis delighted to announce that the call for papers for the 2024 GBEP Youth Award is now open, welcoming aspiring young bachelor, master or PhD students worldwide to send their innovative research. This year’s award winner will receive recognition during the first ever GBEP-YUNGA Bioenergy Youth Day at the 11th Bioenergy Week at FAO headquarters in Rome, and also the opportunity to participate in international events throughout 2024!

The GBEP Youth Award, an integral component of the annual GBEP Bioenergy Weeks, serves as a gateway for youth involvement in GBEP activities, and aims to engage young minds and recognize their research on social, economic and environmental aspects of bioenergy. Winners not only receive their awards during a special session of the GBEP Bioenergy Week, but also earn the opportunity to exhibit their work at other significant international events organized or co-organized by GBEP throughout the year. 

The call for papers is open until 15 April 2024.
