IEA-AMF Newsletter 1-2024

The latest issue of the newsletter of the International Energy Agency's (IEA) Advanced Motor Fuel Technology Collaboration Programme (AMF TCP) has recently been published. With contributions from North America, Europe and Asia, this issue outlines global developments in advanced and sustainable transport fuels.

The newsletter reports on important developments in the aviation sector. For example, the first commercial plant to convert ethanol into aviation fuel has opened in Soperton, Georgia, USA. Also discussed are the US government's $9.4 million investment in the development of advanced biofuels and the UK's first green hydrogen project.

Finally, the issue includes a teaser for the forthcoming anniversary publication summarising 40 years of AMF, a comprehensive list of upcoming advanced fuels events and relevant publications. These include the publication of the final report of Task 61 Remote Emission Sensing.
